👥

Community

We are a community walking together with a shared longing: to grow in the knowledge of God's grace and of His Son, Jesus Christ. We are moved by the desire to deepen our spiritual life—not as a distant ideal, but as a living experience that transforms every aspect of our being. Here, we learn together, pray together, and move forward with purpose, knowing that each step brings us closer to the heart of God.

🎯

Mission

We seek to accompany those who feel called to undertake the Spiritual Exercises, guiding them toward authentic encounters with the sacred through Ignatian pedagogy. This inward journey invites us to discover God in the everyday, to listen to His voice deep within the heart, and to be transformed by His grace at every stage of the spiritual process.

💡

Vision

Our purpose is to be a point of reference in Ignatian spiritual formation in today’s world, offering a deep and relevant path that speaks to the heart of the modern person. Drawing from the richness of the Ignatian tradition, we offer individual spiritual formation to equip other in discerniment, service, and love amidst today’s challenges—integrating faith and life with authenticity, depth, and commitment.

The Ignatian Spirituality

Ignatian spirituality, born from the heart and experience of Ignatius of Loyola in the 16th century, is much more than a religious practice: it is a way of living deeply connected with God in everyday life. It invites us to discover His divine presence in all things — in joys and struggles, in work and relationships — and to respond with inner freedom and generous love. It is founded on three essential pillars: discernment, as the art of listening to God's will amid the noise of the world; contemplation, as a deep gaze that transforms life from within; and service, as a concrete expression of a faith that becomes life and is put at the service of others. It is a spirituality that forms conscious, compassionate, and committed people, capable of transforming their surroundings due to their personal encounter with God.

🙏

Contemplation

Seeing God in everyday life is one of the greatest gifts of Ignatian spirituality. It is not about seeking the extraordinary, but about learning to recognize His presence in the simple: in the daily, in the small, in the seemingly trivial. This way of seeing transforms life, uniting the sacred with the ordinary and teaching us to live each moment with gratitude and purpose.

⚖️

Discernment

Recognizing God’s will in our decisions is essential in Ignatian spiritual life. It is not just about choosing between good and evil, but about discerning, through prayer and reflection, the option that most leads to love and fulfillment. This process forms free, conscious, and willing people, ready to collaborate with God from the depths of the heart.

❤️

Service

In Ignatian spirituality, responding to God arises from love and gratitude for all that has been received, not from obligation. Knowing ourselves deeply loved, a free desire to respond arises within us, transforming our life into a generous offering expressed through service, compassion, and commitment to others.

Retreat Types

We offer different modalities adapted to the needs and availability of each person.

3 Days

We invite you to an intensive weekend retreat, ideal as a first encounter with Ignatian spirituality. Through silence, spiritual guidance, and personal reflection, you will be able to contemplate your own story from God’s loving perspective, discovering His presence in every stage of your life. A brief but profound experience that opens the way to a more embodied and transformative faith.

🗓️

1 Week

Experience a profound time of silence and prayer, designed for those who wish to deepen their engagement with the Spiritual Exercises and open themselves to inner transformation. In this space of retreat, away from the daily noise, a new way of listening to God is awakened, recognizing His close presence and rediscovering faith from the heart. It is a demanding but liberating path, where a God who accompanies, heals, and speaks tenderly is revealed.

🗓️

2 Weeks

At the heart of the Spiritual Exercises, two intensive weeks introduce us to key realities of spiritual life: the Eternal King, the two standards, the binaries, choice, consolation, desolation, and discernment. More than concepts, these are living experiences that illuminate our decisions and desires. This time becomes an inner workshop, where we learn to follow Christ with freedom, to recognize what moves us, and to choose with love, guided by the voice of God deep within the soul.

🗓️

3 Weeks

The path that Jesus walked is the supreme example of love and total surrender. By becoming a servant and embracing our fragility, He revealed that true strength lies in humility and sacrifice. His love, free and limitless, culminates on the cross as the ultimate expression of salvation. Contemplating this path invites us to let ourselves be transformed by a love that, without demanding anything, gives everything.

🗓️

4 Weeks

When we understand the immensity of God’s love, our vision of Him changes: He is no longer a distant judge, but a close Father who dwells in the everyday. This certainty awakens in us a sincere gratitude that leads us to respond freely, not out of obligation, but out of love. Thus, our life is transformed into a daily offering, born from the desire to love as we have been loved.

🗓️

Optional Weeks

Those who have already experienced the Spiritual Exercises can return to live any week in a deeper and renewed way. It is not about repeating, but rediscovering from a new perspective, allowing God to speak differently in the present moment of the spiritual journey. It is an opportunity to deepen what has already been received and let grace act more profoundly. Each return is also a new beginning.

Complementary Activities

Enrich your spiritual experience with activities that connect body, mind, and spirit.

🥾

Ignatian Way

The Ignatian Way in the Basque Country is a spiritual pilgrimage that follows the key places of the life of Ignatius of Loyola, from Azpeitia to La Guardia, passing through the sanctuary of Arantzazu. More than a physical journey, it is an inner path of conversion and seeking God. The breathtaking beauty of the landscapes invites contemplation and gratitude, making each step an opportunity to rediscover one’s own story in the light of the Spirit, where the sacred and the everyday meet.

🏛️

Landmarks

Guided visits are offered to key places in the life of Ignatius of Loyola, such as his birthplace in Azpeitia and the sanctuary of Arantzazu, to experience authentic Ignatian spirituality. More than tourism, these tours are spaces of faith and contemplation, led by experts, inviting reflection on one’s own life through the example and conversion process of Ignatius, inspiring authenticity, discernment, and commitment.

🍷

Gastronomy

The experience of the Ignatian Way in the Basque Country is enriched by enjoying its gastronomic tradition, such as pintxos or tortilla de patatas. Just as Ignatian spirituality invites us to "taste inwardly" the presence of God, savoring food with attention and gratitude becomes a form of praise and contemplation. The table thus transforms into a place of encounter and celebration where body and spirit are nourished together.

🤫

Silence

At the end of the Ignatian Way, there is the possibility to extend the retreat in spaces of silent contemplation, surrounded by nature. These places allow you to continue in communion with God, without hurry or distractions, to rest, give thanks, and deepen the lived experience. In that inhabited silence, the soul continues savoring the transforming presence of God.
